Last night I had the great pleasure of joining an audience of over 400 people to see two guns and deep sea diver. It was some of the most fun I’ve had in a long time.  Two guns played first and it was a eclectic group of five men. Each brought their own taste and flavor to the mix. The lead singer was very attracitive sporting a beard and belting a voice that I did not expect from a man of his stature. They played for only half an hour, but after the first song I was anxiously looking to find their merch table. Their sound was a mix of melodic guitars and piano along with a little drum.  They were fantastic!

As I sat in the dark theater I found myself immersed in a sea of Long Beach hipsters all dressed and adorned with the same jean jackts and band buttons. Except for one man whom sprouted this very sexy deep full beard. The most miraculous beard I’ve seen in years. I knew he looked familiar but couldn’t quite put my finger on it until after locking eyes came to realize it was Zac Galifinakis (incarnate). I couldn’t believe my eyes and found myself slightly obsessed and obviously distracted by his mannerisms and physical presence. Shortly after this discovery my distrations were subsided by Deep Sea Diver. I was completely blown away. Jessica Dobson was absolutely amazing and sexy! Her stage presense turned me on. The way she held her cherry red guitar gleeming under the bright stage lights. Her body moved so intune with the guitar they almost meshed into one being. She had this intense sex appeal that I haven’t seen since Karen O or even Joan Jett, more like a mix of these 2 women. It was one of the most erotic shows I have ever attended. Oh yeah, the music was awesome too! ;)
